Method 1
- 1Get a 10-volt bulb, bulb holder, 9-volt battery and 2 wires. Using two wires of different colors makes this process easier.
- 2Screw a bulb into a bulb holder.
- 3Remove about an inch of wire covering from each end of the wires with a wire stripper or a pair of scissors.
- 4Connect one end of a wire to the positive end of a 1.5-volt battery and the other end to the center of the bulb holder. Generally, red is used to connect the positive end.
- 5Connect the other wire to the negative end of a 1.5-volt battery and the other end to the side of the bulb holder. Generally, black is used to connect the negative end.
- 6Now your bulb will light up!
Method 2
- 1You can also use a power pack to make a circuit. To make a circuit in this way, You need to do the following:
- 2Place the power pack on the desk, ensuring that it is connected to the main supply.
- 3Collect all equipment needed, wires and bulbs, you do not need a battery for this circuit.
- 4Connect the circuit together, ensuring that there are know breaks in the circuit, (breaks mean that there is a gap in the circuit)
- 5Adjust the voltage by turning a dial on the power pack; this will give you varying degrees of light.
