    Get a 10-volt bulb, bulb holder, 9-volt battery and 2 wires. Using two wires of different colors makes this process easier.

    Screw a bulb into a bulb holder.

    Remove about an inch of wire covering from each end of the wires with a wire stripper or a pair of scissors.

    Connect one end of a wire to the positive end of a 1.
     Connect one end of a wire to the positive end of a 1.
    Connect one end of a wire to the positive end of a 1.5-volt battery and the other end to the center of the bulb holder. Generally, red is used to connect the positive end.

    Connect the other wire to the negative end of a 1.5-volt battery and the other end to the side of the bulb holder. Generally, black is used to connect the negative end.

    Now your bulb will light up!

Method 2

    You can also use a power pack to make a circuit. To make a circuit in this way, You need to do the following:

    Place the power pack on the desk, ensuring that it is connected to the main supply.

    Collect all equipment needed, wires and bulbs, you do not need a battery for this circuit.

    Connect the circuit together, ensuring that there are know breaks in the circuit, (breaks mean that there is a gap in the circuit)

    Adjust the voltage by turning a dial on the power pack; this will give you varying degrees of light.
